Gold in my eye...

I actually do have some gold glitter in my eye that's impairing my vision a little bit (don't ask...), but thought I'd jot down a post before I go figure out how to get it out without permanently damaging my cornea...

Today we had a guest share his story with us — Houston Kraft. He reminded me of what R.A.K.E. is about, and what R.A.K.E. could be, not just as a student group, but as a movement across Shorecrest.

WHY NOT?

Watching the RAKErs listen to Hou speak, I saw the "glitter in their eyes". Even if just for a second, they felt the warmth of a smile, and they knew they had been changed. Even if just for a second. Cool, right?

Goals this week: to bring out the sparkle in everyone's eyes. Make people "shine", if you will. A smile, a thank you, a door held open — why not?
